The Alphabet is one of those things which takes a while to learn and seems pretty useless, until you need it. Then it can be a real life saver when trying to spell street names to a befuddled taxi driver, when speaking on the phone to a bus ticket agent, or any other situation where you need to be understood without really knowing Spanish very well. Take a few days to commit this to memory. It could really make a difference.
