Nine Tips for Learning Spanish, Part 7

7. Learn to make Mexican food

I have always had two tastes when it comes to the culture of other countries: I love languages and I love good food. Take a trip to your local grocery, or even better, your local Mexican or Honduran grocery store. You’ll immediately notice a barrage of items you have likely never cooked with. Questions about which chili powder to use or which corn flour is the best for making tortillas will spark your interest in the language and make you a better speaker and cook.
