5. Make friends with a Spanish speaker in your area.

If you are a young, single person the absolutely best way to learn Spanish is to date a native speaker. For us older folks, this may not be practical. However, there are plenty of people in your community for whom Spanish is their native language, and they would be more than happy to teach you. When you get to the level where you attain some basic conversational ability, the utility in knowing a native speaker becomes even more important. Mexican restaurants, grocery and department stores, and churches are some places where I encounter Spanish speakers with good frequency. Introduce yourself and get to know someone who speaks Spanish.
