It’s super important to let go of any apprehensions you may have about learning a foreign language. Nobody is going to laugh or make fun of you, especially people whose English is also not at a native level. In my experience, most of the Spanish speakers I’ve encountered are really surprised and very positive of my attempts to communicate with them in their tongue. A friendly, outgoing attitude on your part will make up for any lack of verbal ability almost immediately.
